Trails Basin Trail This 2.2 mile long hike takes you through the marshes and past a World War 2 bunker. At its end, you’ll be led to an observation deck with incredible views of the Cape Fear River and Zeke’s Island.
Beach Hike The Fort Fisher State Recreation Area offers visitors 5 miles of beach to explore. In the warmer months, Loggerhead Sea Turtles come to lay their eggs. There are certain areas of the beach with four-wheel drive access.
